To facilitate an overhaul of the $200 billion Chilean retirement system, the World Bank engaged Susan Mangiero as the risk management expert on its consultative team. The project involved extensive in-person interviews with Chilean bank executives, monetary regulators, and the Superintendence of Pensions. Susan co-authored the report, Chile: Strengthening Pension Regulation, which included fact finding results and recommendations for prudent reforms.
